The HI 713 Phosphate Checker HC colorimeter features a resolution of 0.01 ppm (250 points) and ±4% of reading ±0.04 accuracy. The HI 713 Checker HC for phosphate, uses an adaptation of Standard Method 4500-P E. The contoured style of this Checker HC fits in your palm and pocket perfectly and the large LCD is easy to read. The auto shut-off feature assures the battery life will not be drained if you forget to turn it off. The HI 713 Checker HC is extremely simple to use. First, zero the instrument with your water sample. Next, add the reagent. Last, Place the vial into the HI 713 Checker HC, press the button and read the results. It’s that easy!

This is a great product. Just as accurate as the more expensive colormeters. Takes the guess work out! No more color comparison charts. I would

I am so glad I purchased the Hanna Phosphate checker. I was using a high-end (and expensive) test kit and the results were consistently under 0.03.
I couldn’t figure out why I was having cyano issues until I tried my new checker. My phosphate levels were at 0.17. I couldn’t believe it! I
have verified this with other users that have had these issues with the same high-end test kit. This phosphate checker is a MUST HAVE if you have a
reef aquarium. At this price, it pays for itself in no time at all. Thank you Hanna!
